Dr. Kimberly J.'s research and scholarship centers the lived experiences of Black women. She distills collective stories of African American women, invisible and forgotten in mainstream academic spaces, to create transformative cultural, healing, and spiritual knowledge grounded in African and African ascendant women’s ways of knowing that explore the power of spirit and spirituality to heal Black minds, bodies, and spirits.
