SOUL-to-SOUL HEALING™
Soul-to-Soul healing is a set of embodied, emancipatory, contemplative, and everyday practices that intentionally allow for reconnection, restoration, revelation, and resistance. Its primary goal is to create tangible pathways for intergenerational healing. Soul-to-Soul healing helps Black women rebuild healthy generational connections with their bodies, families, communities, ancestors, and nature. Through Soul-to-Soul healing, we can (re)member our cultural identities, restore our consumed bodies, reclaim embodied spiritual practices, and resist the forces of externalized and internalized oppression.
"To remember our soul’s medicine, we must (re)member our bodies.”

If you can relate to any of these Historical Trauma Responses (HTR), I invite you to take the Black Women's Historical Trauma Assessment to further investigate your relationship to and with historical and intergenerational trauma and how it can adversely impact your life. I designed the Black Women’s Historical Trauma Assessment (BWHTA) to assess the level of exposure to historical trauma effects experienced uniquely by Black women. This assessment can be used to gauge the level of exposure to historical and intergenerational trauma, and identify what specific trauma responses are being exhibited.
